Justin K. Beckham focuses his practice on DUI Defense Trial Advocacy. His main legal focus is on DUI stop issues including Motions to Suppress Evidence, Confessions, Roadside Tests, and Breathalyzer results. He has worked on several Boating Under the Influence Cases, as well as Leaving the Scene of an Accident with and without injuries, and Fleeing and Eluding. Justin Beckham has obtained several “not guilty” verdicts for his DUI clients. He has also obtained numerous DUI dismissals. Justin Beckham handles the firm’s Administrative Hearings at the Bureau of Administrative Review, and has successfully invalidated several License Suspensions.

Justin K. Beckham was born and raised in Miami, Florida, and graduated from Ransom Everglades High School in Coconut Grove, Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and his law degree from the University of Florida.

After law school, Justin Beckham joined the Office of the Dade County Public Defender. He successfully defended thousands of clients at the Juvenile, Misdemeanor, and Felony Levels. He is fully fluent in both written and spoken Spanish. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Dade County Bar Association, and the Dade County Trial Lawyers Association.

Justin Beckham is the only 4th generation trial lawyer in Dade County history. His great-grandfather, Walter H. Beckham, served as one of the first Juvenile Judges in Miami. His grandfather, Walter H. Beckham Jr. is a Professor Emeritus at the University of Miami Law School, and served as President of the National Judicial College. Justin Beckham’s father, James K. Beckham, focuses his practice on personal injury litigation in Homestead, Florida.
